Au contraire, Samsung feels it’s the perfect time to unleash the Black Edition Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini. You couldn’t make this stuff up.
I actually scribbled about the Black Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini this time last week, though at that time it wasn’t clear if they’d venture far beyond the Russian border.
Well, the pair has now been officially announced on the English-language Samsung Tomorrow blog, and they’re seemingly coming to the US and the UK some time this month.
The unique selling point for the Black Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini is the Galaxy Note 3-style faux leather rear. Otherwise, specs are identical (Galaxy S4 specs, Galaxy S4 mini specs).
You can, however, expect a suite of “eight dedicated wallpapers”, alongside several “new and exclusive” ringtones. Oh, and black headphones. It’s all very gothic.
Pricing and exact release dates for the Black Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini are yet to be confirmed.
